The Wesleyan Methodist Church National Pastors' Conference was held at the Tweed Ultima Conference Centre at Tweed Heads from February 22 to 26. It was a resounding success with 106 pastors and spouses attending. The program focused on the National Priorities of an Undivided Heart, Prayer and Fasting and Community Engagement. There were also church planting presentations from Revs Phil Hotchkin and Mark Gorveatte. Evening speakers were Revs Lindsay Cameron (NS), Hall Malasa (Solomon Islands NS), and Kay Fulcher (Solomon Islands missionary).
Included in the conference were representatives of the New Zealand and Solomon Islands Wesleyan Methodist Churches and from Global Partners in North America. We ate together, worshipped together, studied together and prayed together.
Tuesday was dedicated to prayer and fasting, culminating in a prayer walk to the beach where we gathered for prayer for the Gold Coast. From that spot we had 180 degree views from Tweed heads to Suffers Paradise.
Special thanks to Jeff Adams (Conf Director), Vicki Carnell (registrar), Rose Richardson (book keeping), and Tyrel Cameron (sound and vision).

86 women from across the Wesleyan Methodist, Salvation Army, and Nazarene Churches met for the second Women’s Holiness Conference at Brookfield on the outskirts of Brisbane. The women were challenged to grow in their understanding of our shared theology and to find ways to implement it as they live out Christ in their communities. Feedback about the conference was, once again, overwhelmingly positive.

The National Conference for the Wesleyan Methodist Church of New Zealand took place from Friday 30th November till Sunday 1st October at Auckland NZ. It was an extraordinary time of business and celebration, located at the new Papakura Church building.
Special guests included Dr Eddie and Mary Nell Fox (World Methodist Council), Dr HC Wilson (Global Partners), Rev Lindsay and Dr Rosalea Cameron (Australian Wesleyan Methodist Church), and Rev Mark Gorveatte (West Michigan Wesleyan District). Although no elections were due, reports were received and a committee to explore a closer partnership with the Nazarene Church was established.
Features of the conference included a farewell dinner for Dr Sifa and Rev Hulita Lokatui and family and the ordinations of Julia Vincent and Peter Benzie.
