The Southern District Conference was a huge success, with more than 140 campers at Phillip Island in Victoria. The conference was spread over three days, from September 18th to 20th. Highlights of the two days of business included the re-election of Rev Kent Ridgway as District Superintendent and the ordination of Rev Susan Lee.

Guest speaker was Mark Sayers (author on popular culture as seen from a Christian perspective) and worship was led by teams from John Wesley church in Perth, Upper Room church in Dandenong and Balwyn church.
