North Queensland District Conference was held at Magnetic Island, near Townsville, from 29th Sept to 2nd October. It was a very successful conference / family camp with a good number making the ferry trip to the island to report, worship and fellowship together.

The conference was advised that Superintendent Rev Rex Rigby was not available for continued service, due to his election to lead the South Queensland District. The district leadership was left in the hands of the National Superintendent for now, with Rev Stuart Hall returned as Assistant Superintendent.

Conference speaker was Rev Kay Fulcher. The presence of the Spirit was keenly evidenced through Kay's preaching, with many responding at the altar. Worship was led by Peter Hartin and the gifted team from Capital Wesleyan. This was a powerful conference in a beautiful part of QLD.
