The conference was characterised by a good spirit of unity and excitement. More than 20 ministers were licensed. Rev Hall Malasa was returned as National Superintendent for a period of four years and Pastor Solomon Soto was elected as Assistant Superintendent.
The conference elected a Task Force to pursue acquisition of land in Noro, near Munda, for a future National Headquarters and Resource Centre.
Other Australian personnel present included missionary, Rev Kay Fulcher and Australian pastor, Rev Dennis Hartin. More than 50 conference delegates stayed on to participate in a course taught by Rev Hartin.
