In Memory of Rev Dorothy Hotchkin

Dorothy
Rev Dorothy Mae Hotchkin passed to be with the Lord on the evening of Friday, 23rd October 2009 at the Caboolture hospital at the age of 74 years. Dorothy had served the Wesleyan Methodist Church alongside her husband as a pioneer missionary in Papua New Guinea for 32 years (1961 to 1993). Subsequently she and Walter pastored the Tewantin and Rockhampton churches in Queensland before retirement. Walter preceded Dorothy, dying on September 24, 2005. Last Friday night Dorothy passed peacefully in her sleep. God's faithfulness to Dorothy was very evident.

Rev Graeme Carnell will lead the funeral service on Thursday 29th October. The memorial service will be held at Hills Wesleyan at 11:30am, followed by light refreshments.

Praise the Lord for the life and witness of this sister.
