Over 60 Murri people are gathering each
Sunday for worship, teaching and fellowship at our very first Murri
Wesleyan Church. The name of the church is Baparrdu - meaning God in
the Murri language. Pastors Rex Rigby and Alan Brown are watching as
their people experience the compassionate, loving, all embracing hand
of God. Over half of those at church are children. Please be praying
for this new work. Pray that the leadership will be wise and full of
God's vision for their people and the wider community.
Pray for those who are attending and who
are yet to attend - that they will have soft hearts to hear well the
message of grace and hope. Pray also for the children, that this
church will be a powerful work of the Holy Spirit. A place where the
next generation become rich in their understanding that they are a
precious people, loved dearly by their maker. Praise God
for the diversity we see amongst our churches.
